McKinley is a VOLUNTEER fire company. Our members are everyday people, just like you, who care about their community enough to protect their neighbor's lives and property free of charge. We respond to calls for help whenever we are available, and therefore need a large membership to ensure that there are always enough firefighters to answer the alarm. Volunteer firefighting is a serious commitment, but it is also one of the most rewarding and satisfying jobs in the world. If you are interested in joining us, please stop by the firehouse on any Tuesday evening at 7:30. We'll be happy to show you around and explain what's involved.
